　LAジャズを代表するサックス奏者でありながら、その活動はジャズのみに留まらず、サンダーキャットやケンドリック・ラマーとの活動で新世代ミュージックシーンを牽引し続けるキーパーソン、カマシ・ワシントンが遂に東京JAZZに参戦します。 2015年に発表した『The Epic』はその年の最優秀作品の1つとして圧倒的な反響を得て、2018年の『Heaven & Earth』ではその研ぎ澄まされたサウンドでジャンルを超えた多くの観客を魅了しました。
